Miller Landscape Gives Back - Christmas Contest '08

Around the holidays in 2009, Miller Landscape launched our first Christmas Contest. The goal of the project was for Miller Landscape to donate a landscape project to a family in need of service. We wanted it to be a family that due to personal hardship with money, health, or other circumstances, was unable to care for their yard. We recieved an overwhelming amount of responses, and never anticipated how hard it would be to select and contribute to one situation over another. Our staff did finally select two winners instead of just one. Both properties mostly needed a lot of cleanout and some new planting. It was a very rewarding experience for everyone involved. We have selected to do a different type of project for the holiday season in 2009, but will most likely return to the Christmas Contest again in 2010.
